A Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 met a fiery fate at the Big Bend Open Road Race in the United States, quite literally melting after a record-setting high-speed run. Following the 189-kilometre event, in which the car averaged over 279 km/h, the rear of the supercar was found partially melted from extreme heat, according to the organisers’ social media posts.
