The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Undergoes the Most Extensive Facelift in its History

Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius has provided a rare behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming refresh of the S-Class (W223), calling it one of the most substantial modernizations in the model's storied history. The S-Class, which has served as the automotive industry’s technological lighthouse for decades, is moving far beyond simple cosmetic tweaks to its bumpers and lights. More than half of the vehicle’s components have been either thoroughly redesigned or replaced entirely, resulting in over 2,700 new parts in the updated flagship.
